On-tap at Beachwood BBQ,

A: Pours black with a light white head, leaving some good lacing. Solid retention.

S: Some notes of light raspberries and port. As the beer warms, the wine barrel really comes out bringing a lot of fruit to go with the roasted malt.

T: Strong dark chocolate notes with a lot of wine barrel. Red currants and some sour cherries. The raspberries are invisible in the flavour, but the other tastes more than make up for it.

M: Medium-bodied, smooth, dry, elegant barrel character.

D: A real nice imperial stout, the port barrel adds another layer of complexity which works well with the base beer.
