On-tap at Oakquinox
A: The pout is a clear amber color with a minimal off-white head forming.
S: Oh boy, not good. Booze and acetone are there immediately. A little bit of sweet caramel and bread, and then some more booze and paint thinner. A mild oak and vanilla note in the back.
T: Not surprisingly, things aren't much different on the palate. A harsh flavor of hot alcohol and acetone. Perhaps a touch of burnt plastic, too. Really tannic oak flavors, and that added astringency really isn't needed.
M: Medium in body with a low carbonation.
O: This was painful to drink. Just awful flavors.
