On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Black colour, low tan head. Nice aroma of chocolate and coffee. Soft mouthfeel, moderate carbonation, fairly light bodied. The flavour is drier than expected, chocolate notes for sure, but no overwhelming sweetness. Also notes of roast malts and coffee, moderate hops.

Cask at the brewery. 10oz snifter. Reviewed from notes.
A: Mocha colored liquid with a thin light brown head. Fine chocolate particulate swirls around my glass, and a patch of chocolate sludge was left at the bottom of my glass after I finished. This really is a porter with ground chocolate added to the barrel!
S: Smells like baker’s chocolate or high percent dark chocolate and pretty much nothing else.
T: Dominating dark chocolate with hints of roast, caramel, and coffee beans. Slight pine hops in the finish. Base porter is there, but dark chocolate dominates most other flavors.
M: Smooth and slick mouthfeel, watery cask carbonation, medium body. Thin overall but expected.
O: A chocolate lovers dream; I had to order a second glass. Drinks like dessert, highly recommended.
