Poured a dark copper hue, with little head to speak of.
The smell was rather well balanced. A strong malt presence accompanied by a citrus and pine hop aroma. There was a slight hint of alcohol.
The taste was well balanced as well. A good strong malt body held up well to the hop bitterness and mild alcohol flavor.
The mouthfeel was full, with a dry finish. Could have used some more carbonation.
Overall, a decent DIPA.
