This beer was solid. A dark amber color with a short white head with poor retention. Slowed down to a decent lacing that held thorughout the beer. The smell was very malty, as was the taste. The beer also seemed to have a slightly alcoholic, but it was pretty well covered by the malts. The mouthfeel was nice and thick and very smooth. This beer is pretty drinkable; it's a solid bock. Unfortunately, like all bocks, it is pretty filling, so keep that in mind when you get your hand on a growler of this. Definitely one to share with a group of people.

Poured a medium copper hue with a one finger creamy white head. There was decent retention and good sticky lacing.
The smell featured a very faint and uneventful malt with a trace noble hop.
The taste consisted of a husky grainy malt with a good caramel sweetness. A good spicy hop followed as well.
The mouthfeel was of medium fullness and creamy.
Overall a nice shot at the style. Could have benefitted from a deeper grain bill however.
