August 07 and this seems to be a new beer at Brickhouse. Poured a dark copper body with a foamy, beige head with nice lacing throughout. Smell was of malts, and the taste was pretty bitter. However, the mouthfeel was thin which made it quite drinkable. Wouldn't be my first choice at Brickhouse (that would be the exquisite Nitro Boom Stout), but a good brew nonetheless.

I believe when I had this beer, it may have still been pretty young. It poured an interesting amber colored body with a decent off-white head (about 1/2 inch) with pretty solid retention that slowed to a nice lacing. It smelled slightly malty, which had me interested. The taste was also slightly malty, but more bittering than anything. The mouthfeel was pretty thin, but it still felt ok. The beer itself is pretty drinkable. It is pretty light and refreshing, but there is some hop bitterness to the finish.
