On draft at the brewery.
Poured a dark brown hue with a one finger frothy tan head. There was decent retention and lacing.
The smell featured lactose and soft cocoa aromas.
The taste was pretty straight forward cafe au lait with perhaps a touch of black malt at the finish. No alcohol detected.
The mouthfeel was full and creamy.
Overall a brawny stout to be sure. Could use a bit more roast in my opinion. Regardless, very user friendly and quaffable.
