I will review this beer as a München Helles Lager as I think it is the most appropriate style.

The colour is yellow (5 EBC), the liquid clear. The high white very compact head got good retention. It leaves a fine lacing when slowly sinking down.

The smell is light as it is supposed to be. Some malt sweetness. Flowery hops, some grass. Almost no bitterness at all. Very clean.

The taste starts off with an elegant grassy bitterness. It is overall clean and quite balanced. Some smooth sweetness, notes of French loaf. Medium body. The aftertaste is smooth with some alcohol and white bread, hay and hints of butter. Fruits, sweetness and alcohol in the finish.

The carbonation is medium to midl, the bubbles small. The liquid is a bit smoth.

München Helles is a tricky style, it is so light that every off-flavour will be noticed at once. In this beer, there were a bit too much of alcohol and butter to impress me.

A: The pour is clear golden with a really tall white lovely head that slowly sets into decent lacings.

S: Bready malt wiht quite some hoppyness; bitter and floral. Lots of nettles and hay, also some fresh cut grass.

T: The taste follows the smell, the bitterness is perhaps a bit stronger. Creamy.

M: Rather long bitter aftertaste. The body is oily/buttery and medium full, while carbonation is rather modest.

O: Well, the buttery feel is wrong in this Dortmunder that is actually more of a German Pilsener when it comes to the rich hops. Not bad, but also not very exciting.
