I listed this as English Brown Ale but it should be in a class of its own.
A: The body is a dull, dark amber and the head is off-white. It doesn't last long. Almost no lacing.
S: Getting some intense wood, but it could be that my glass was kept in the spice cabinet. Fudge and toffee with some nail varnish remover.
T: As I take a gulp I get banana in the nose and some nice tones of toffee and nail varnish on the tongue. Behind it all is a watery lageryness and loads of fizz. It's reasonably bitter but in a lagery way, possibly due to the use of Noble hops. Liquorish comes and goes but cardboard is present throughout. The profile is more Belgian than English.
M: Despite its fizzy lageryness it's full bodied.
O: At present this is Korea's best selling ale on the domestic scene. At risk of being trolly, it's fucking shit!
