Tasted by half-pint recently at a JDW pub close to the Hammersmith tube station, W. London.
A: bright amber hue, a creamy head settles fast, low carbonated, great clarity, yet served slightly warmer than ideal.
S: lager? smelling slightly like lager malts or pale malts, with touches of German hop aroma... pretty clean, hoppy, simplistic, with a faintly sulphury and floral kickback. Also at presence is a small dose of wheat-ish grains... Not bad.
T: intensely biscuity malts and grassy hops mix with an intriguing chewy corn-ish grainy malts... slightly salty-sweet aftertaste of malts, backed by a slightly spicy and intensifyingly dryish edge from a good amount of hops.
M&D: smooth on the mouthfeel, almost too smooth, due to the lack of fizziness; this beer is quite interesting in its flavour profile but NOT quaffable, mainly due to the less-than-ideal condition in which it's served. It seems to me a beer experimented with Continental hops, maybe Styrian Goldings is used? I might be misled though.
