This beer is very dark in color almost making it look like a porter, but it definitley not a porter. There is none to little hop character in the aroma and taste of this beer. It is very nutty and chocolatey with slight hints of caramel. It is smooth drinking and comforting. It would go well with beef or with chocolate desserts.
