Had this during a wonderful visit with blitheringidiot. Assuming this was on a nitro tap because the previous reviewer has it that way as well, and he was recently there.
Brewing this beer is a wonderful idea. If you can't bring the lovely Guinness version into the U.S., let's make it ourselves. We can't beg them forever.
The beer had a nice thick head, with coffee coloring. Sort of like what you would see in Imperial Stouts. It has a deep coffee smell. The taste is also very similar to an Imperial Stout. Strong coffee flavors, although without all the complexity associated with the Impy Stout style. That is appropriate for this style, but that is the best way to describe the taste. Mouthfeel was smooth. All in all, a great beer and worth having.
