Nice barrel aged imperial stout; it's on the thin side and that's apparent in the visuals, not much head or lacing and just doesn't have that full bodied clingy stickiness that at least in this case, would help things along. It's barrel forward and I like that, ends dry and is generally on the less sweet side, if you like a prominent whiskey flavor this will appeal. Not terribly complex and could use some heft but this is a strong offering that blends roastiness, dark chocolate, oak, rye whiskey and licorice notes very nicely.
