The Oktoberfest being out, I opted for their IPA...
A pint was $4.75... Was a clear, medium-dark copper color. A creamy, thin white head topped the liquid, and left some decent lacing. Aroma was of piney hops; mild but still good. Bier was smooth, and it was a touch chewy. Oh yeah!!
Some toasty malt hits the palate, followed soon by a rich, west-coast layering of lupulins. They are piney and resiny, with plentiful grapefruit. It is a bit pithy, but quite enjoyable overall!
Prosit!!
