Thanks to Bobby for sharing this growler.
A: The pour is a dark golden amber sort of color with a finger's worth of off-white head.
S: The front end of the nose is a strange blend of citrus, pine, and herbal hops and butterscotch. The plain butter starts to come through more as the beer warms up.
T: There is a mild bitterness to this beer along with plenty of bready malts. There is a touch of piny and herbal hop notes along with a strange buttery character. Sort of like browned butter, perhaps.
M: The body is medium and the carbonation is pleasantly assertive and lively.
D: I can't really say that I enjoyed this beer. Too much diacetyl (although any is too much) just ruins this beer.
