Brewed with "rye malt and lage yeast" accoarding to the brewer. Pours a lightly copper tinted amber color, thin spots of off-white lacing. Scent brings mostly notes of wheat with light spicing, bready. Taste again leads me to think more of a wheat beer than a rye ale, rye is light and only adds a bit to the breadyness of the ale. Lighter side of medium, under carbonated if anything, dry. Odd beer which never got going for me.
