Cask-conditioned at The Brazen Head's cask fest (Brooklyn). This is brewed for the Heartland chain, and rarely found in cask form.
Deep ruby red, adequate tan head. Pleasant, strong hoppy aroma; slightly peaty and reminiscent of a single malt scotch. Predominately malty flavour with caramel and hops balancing quite nicely. Malty, slightly nutty finish; easy to drink - especially when cask-conditioned. Highly enjoyable.
