On tap at Heartland Brewery, Empire State Building. Not listed on the beer menu as this is very limited, fortunately I had a tip off that it was available.
Extremely dark ruby red - virtually black but with a small, clean white head. Faint malty aroma, nothing very apparent in the smell. Rich on the palate, dangerously smooth with notes of bourbon, chocolate, moderate balancing hops, and a hint of alcoholic warmth. Hops come through more for a dry finish.
