This is a nice beer to drink, it has an "All-American" feel and taste. It reminds me of something mass produced, but tastes like what that would taste like, if less corners were cut, if I were younger, if it were the early 1980s. I guess it's just a good, drinkable beer, reminiscent of an era when everyday classic quality was not unusual . However, it's not priced like mass produced beer. I wish there were more easy drinking Pilsner like beers available (at my grocery), refreshing, hopefully interesting, but not offensive, etc.

From the can it pours a clear straw color with a thin head that quickly disapates. Carbonation is visible.
The aroma is fairly mild with breast Pilsner malt tones and grassy hops.
In the mouth it feels light and crisp. For a large part of the drinking session, the sweetness from the malts predominates and with a touch of grassy hops. A hint of lemon keeps things refreshing. Midway through, a spicy and peppery hops kicks in, which lingers in the finish, and adds dryness and moderate bitterness.
As the summer months arrive, I seek to sample refreshing lagers as a counterpoint to the Ales I tend to drink. This is a decent and drinkable, if not spectacular, Pilsner.

I like this better than the initial Ba's. Hard to rate good pilsner, but they're never really disappointing, just hard to tease apart. Try 6.

A - Lots of lace, fine bubbles, good head and retention. Golden perfection. I give it a 4.

S -Too much corn accusation in the review. It's got a bit of corn, but more white crackers, stone wheat thins, with a dash of bright hops.

Taste: The main upper flavor is lemony, grassy, noble hops that play off the white cracker back drop as a kind of smear of tang on sweet bread crust.

Mouthfeel: Nice in the mouth, tingly with creamy body with a bright, peppery carbonation. Clean finish.

Overall: I did not tire of this and like it alongside others like El Sully.

Poured from 12oz can into a clear mug.

Appearance: very lightly hazy straw-yellow hue with a mild effervescence and a finger of creamy white foam that leaves a chunky lace on the glass. Head is good, but the color is a bit lackluster for me.

Smell: a bit corny with a dash of noble hops. It's not corny in a bad way, though; just kind of sweet with a light dose of corn pops.

Taste: malt is again lightly corny, but not at all in a bad way. The slightly grassy, noble-y hops play off that element rather well; I find myself quite liking it.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.

Overall: the corniness is interesting and not bad, though I'll admit it gets a little old through a whole glass. It's not terrible, though.

Poured into a pilsener glass. Pours a light straw/golden amber with a half finger white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of grainy biscuit malt and grassy hops with a hint of citrus. Flavor is follows with biscuit malt, grain, light citrus, grassy noble hops; finishes with grassy hops, slightly metallic. Light to medium bodied with sharp carbonation. A good domestic take on the pilsener style, starting slightly sweet, but finishing dry. There is a slight metallic or astringent quality to finish, as the malt flavors taper off, but overall a nicely balanced and traditional style pilsener. A new brewery to our area.
