had at mug's ale house. menu didn't even stated the hop varietal... noted by bartender.
such a nice high AA hop treat of something quite unique but textbook form. bar tender at mug's said the keg was a tad warm... this just gave way to about 3 and a half fingers of beautiful white head. quite sticky. nose of brisk earthy sap resin and grapefruit. and the palate was lip puckering in a way that was a bit different. great hop chemistry... hops give a dryness that is so robust that it feels like licking bike inter tubes. i know that's a strange reference but i can't describe the grippy unique funk any differently. this is quite bitter and starts as a grapefruit that transforms to something a bit more earthy and mineral dry. and lots of it. more pine then pine. very deep flavor.
had it again a few days later... same place... very distinct and robust hopping... minerals a bit more subdued with a characteristic grapefruit to grippy wood bitter hopping.

On the cask at Bierkraft, this is the Kelso dry hopped with the infamous New Zealand hop. Pours very hazy orange, very low carbonation, which soon disappears into a flat surface, much like we used to think of the Earth. Strong pineapple with a little grapefruit in the aroma. It's a pretty wonderful thing. Bitter kick up front with some sweetness and then pineapple comes in, backed by that same damn grapefruit in lovely harmony. A wonderful cask beer, the Nelson Sauvin making its presence very noticeably felt.
