Thanks Denise!
Good-looking brown pour. Pretty head and sticky lace. Brown sugar and booze in the nose, bourbon and malts show up too. Taste is overrun by the barrel flavors and alcohol, leaving me disappointed. Body is weak for an imperial stout too. Had higher hopes for this; oh well.

Had on tap at Bierkraft's 10th Anniversary event in Brooklyn.
A- Pours black in color. A frothy tan head.
S- Decadent maple syrup. Makes me think it may be a little too sweet.
T- Not as sweet as the nose. Velvet-like chocolate, maple, molasses, a tiny bite of hops in the finish. Very smooth though over all. Nice balance in the sweetness, that mutes the slighlyt bitter finish of the regular version of this beer.
M- Smooth carbonation level, great balance.
D- A great stout that can be had in multiples. I ended up getting a couple of CP filled growlers to have over the next few weeks and a few to send out to friends.
