A: hazy; gold in color; 1 finger moussy white head that receded to a thin cap; sheets of lace;

S: malty sweetness; banana, pineapple, and floral;

T: follows the nose with some orange added in; sort of like Tropicana orange/banana juice; very mild bitterness;

M: medium bodied; low to moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;

O: flavor didn't work for me;

Not the assertive hoppiness I would expect from a triple IPA but a decent beer nonetheless.

This is a decent beer. Pours a nice cloudy Amber color with a white foam. Nice lacing. Smell is of sweet malts and lots of fruity hops. Smells like cascade hops to me. Lots of floral, hints of Apple. Taste is similar to nose. Good feel with dry bitter finish.

No date but it's Batch 020 from the Brewer's Reserve Series. I think it was released about a month ago.
This one had a ton of floaties and a barely there head when poured. The nose was one dimensional with a fruity malt sweetness. Taste was pretty much the same except there was some hop bitterness in the finish. Not the hop presence I'd expect from a Triple. Its a shame as Cascade is one of my favorite hops. At less than $3 for a 9.7% ABV it's still worth a try. Gonna give this one another shot.

11/22...pours dark copper with heavy foam white head. Nose is a grassy citrus, and light pine. Heavy rampant bitter taste - light malt below. Loads of citrussy bitter. Fast finish but with a tongue scraping bitter. Creative

pours a dark gold nearly orange with a thick white head.

i smell caramel malt and sweetness

drinks smooth for being nearly 10%. caramel malt with big sweetness, maybe some melon. goes down smooth, pretty easy drinking.

again! River Horse hits big on a Brewer's Reserve, IPL was fantastic now this! they've been putting out more and more good beers.
