Plenty of carbonation, slightly thin body.
Aroma is watermelon fruit and rind, watermelon candy, malt, earthy buckwheat honey.
Taste is not too sweet at all, watermelon rind taste gives it a little bit of a bitterness.
Its not the best from river horse who usually puts out a very good product. It worked well as a post lawn mowing beer though.

Happy Wuddermelon Wednesday, er, Happy Watermelon Wednesday from The CANQuest (tm)! Remember to Bump the Hump each & every Wednesday for a more pleasant beer-drinking exbeerience.
From the CAN: "A Kölsch style Watermelon Ale"; "A portion of the proceeds will go to helping Philadelphia Zoo save endangered animals".
I was VERY curious to see what this was going to look like. I have had some watermelon beers that were as pink as Kool-Aid. I beCAN by Crack!ing open the vent for a slow, gentle Glug into my awaiting glass. This produced three-plus fingers (!) of dense, foamy, rocky, French Vanilla-colored head with excellent retention. Color was a very hazy Yellow-Gold (SRM = 4 - 5). Nose smelled strongly of wuddermelon, er, watermelon & while this would be a good thing if it were a "Fruit & Field Beer", it is less-so in a "Kölsch". Remember to ALWAYS review & rate to Style, NOT to personal taste. Mouthfeel was medium. The taste was very much of wuddermelon, er, watermelon with a slight tang that kind of put me in mind of a Jolly Rancher. Not bad, but totally inappropriate for the style. Finish was semi-dry, thankfully NOT sweet at all. It would be a pleasant Summertime refresher, but beyond that, it was pretty much a one & done for me. YMMV.
