Can to wine glass.
LOOK: dark black color, creamy light brown head, good legs on sides, excellent retention. 4.5
AROMA: coconut; light malts. Pleasant, but not much beyond coconut. 3.75
TASTE: roasted malt and toasted coconut. some bitter/sour fruit flavors linger later. 3.75
FEEL: full bodied and well carbonated. A nice lively thick stout. 4.25
OA 3.75
A pretty well crafted brew with just some flaws in the flavor and aroma. Kind of the opposite of what I would expect from this kind of collaboration. Didn't realize until after purchasing that it was Buy-Rite liquors(the store where I purchased) that teamed up with River Horse on this one. Not excellent, but some impressive characteristics and enjoyable enough.
