Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a pretty dark amber color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of caramel malts, vanilla. Taste is molasses, malts, hints of vanilla. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a solid beer and a unique take on the style.

-Amber ale with vanilla and molasses.

A: Creamy plush one half inch tan head rests above a darken amber colored body. Thin whispy saturn ring around the vessel.

S: Moderate tones of caramel sweetness and vanilla bean. Light mentions and support of smoked wood and molasses. Grainy amber malts, octoberfest-marzen esque, are paired with some green wet flowery hops.

M: Smoky molasses for flavor, roasted amber grains has highlights and expressions of deep chocolate and rich vanilla. Earthy bitterness with a lingering smoked wood quality, molasses, is balanced with some sweetness of dried honey. Earthy wet green flowery hops.

M: Thick and viscose mouthful comes compliments of the molasses. Carbonation is very light. Rich ,and full amber

O: Lots of flavor additives and a style that gets looked over. Deep toasted amber malts and chocolate expressions gives this an almost porter-esque like quality. With big flavors of vanilla and molasses, usually reserved for the heavy and darker beers, this comes off a big strange combination, but still works. Sweet, toasty and a perfect fall drinking beer.

A wonderful experience. Poured in a snifter. Great dark color and nice brown head. Very smooth and malty. I'm looking forward to having another on Thanksgiving afternoon next to a burning fireplace.

The vanilla molasses and malts are all here. Goes down very easy. Wish more companies would have explore this style.
