On tap at Max's the other day.

The beer pours a very dark brown color with good head retention and lacing. I don't get a lot on the nose, just some light chocolate and a hint of 7-up. Flavors on the palate are much better, with some very nice chocolate, banana and vanilla. The beer is medium bodied and pretty smooth, with the alcohol pretty well disguised. There is a slight toast and dry bitterness on the finish. Drinkability is pretty good, with no more then moderate sweetness.

Nothing special here, but a nice enough beer with some pleasant, albeit somewhat simple, flavors.

Had this on tap at Andy's

A- poured into a half liter weiss glass. Very dark ruby color. From a distance it looks black but it is very dark reddish color. Has a nice head that fades away with almost no lacing.

S- aromas are sweet similar to honey and slightly smokey

T- This is not like your usual weizenbock. I could not taste any honey or anything of that nature, hence the name but this kind of reminded me of a lite smoke beer. Overall it did have some maltyness to it but I couldn't help the feeling that I could taste hints of smoked meats.

M- good amount of carbonation, full body and smooth

Overall it was a good beer. I might change the name because I could not taste much honey at all but definitely one to try if you see it.

On tap at the Craft Ale House.

Poured a deeper amberish/medium brown color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of honey, breadiness, toasty, and some wheatiness. Tastes of the same toasted bread, honey, caramel, a little fruity, and some lighter spiciness.
