Pours a slightly hazy, gold color. 2/3 inch head of a white color. Good retention and decent lacing. Smells of pale malt, adjunct, hint of hop, hint of citrus, and slight wheat. Fits the style of a Hefeweizen. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with a high carbonation level. Tastes of strong pale malt, wheat, hint of sweet malt, hint of yeast, and a hint of hop. Overall, decent appearance, but weak aroma, body, and blend.

A - Golden yellow and hazy with a nice tight white head that eventually recedes to a collar and leaves lots of fuzzy lace. Presented with a wedge of lemon which I promptly removed.

S - Dusty yeast, bananas, clove, and maybe some coriander. Nice and spicy. Smells very true to the style.

T - Tons of banana right of the bat. Loads of dusty yeast and lemony twang behind it. Again, very "to style." Maybe a little bit to lemony but that may be from the lemon wedge that came on the glass.

M - On the lighter side of medium bodied with nice fine carbonation. Acidic with a dusty finish.

D - This is the best beer that I had at O'Griff's and I usually don't get excited about hefeweizens. Definitely done true to the hefe style.
