Pours a dark, cloudy amber color. 1/5 inch head with slight retention and slight lacing. Smells of earthy malts, hops, and slight clove. Fits the style of an English Brown Ale. Mouth feel was smooth and crisp with average carbonation levels. Tastes of good earthy malts up front, honey flavor is noticeable, slight spice, and some sweet malts in the finish. Overall, much improved than the Honey Brown I've had here in the past. The addition of more hops and some spice increase the body and complexity.
