Pours a dark coffee brown with a foggy transparency. Head is a finger of off-white foam. Aroma is toasty, nutty, earthy, and mild bready malts. Soft wheat comes thru a little more as the beer warms. Flavor profile is malt forward, tagging toasty, nutty, earthy, and bready malts along the way. Soft wheat opens for mild toffee and faint molasses. Only hop note is light grass. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a soft texture. It thins down towards the finish, tapering off into obscurity. Overall, mild and well mannered. Easy drinking with a dark twist.
