It looks like a pilsener but not the Platonic pilsener ideal: head is weak and thin, though I have no complaints about the clarity or nice golden color. The aroma, also, is classic pilsener but a bit muted; lemon, grass, popcorn and a bit of honey are pretty much all there is, and in no great quantities.
This theme of "good flavors, but not enough of them" carries on in the taste as well. A bit of lemon and some fresh grain taste nice, very nice, in fact, but is just lacks punch. Bone-dry finish and moderately fizzy carbonation is good, but it also interrupts any sort of savorability that the malts might contribute. It's a decent pilsener but in the end it's no better than a high-quality Japanese lager.
