This was a dark copper colored beer with about a half inch worth of a cream colored head on top. There was some caramel flavors in here, slightly metallic in the back. Also a slight taste of alcohol. Wasnt a bad drink, didnt seem like anything too exciting however.

Clear coppery color
Firm, bubbly, off-white head, if a bit brief.
Aroma: fresh, zesty, grassy, clean, herbal, vegetal, and sweet.
Spicy, traces of toffee, subtle alcohol, a bit medicinal, with a turbulent sweetness.
On the palate, a syrupy sweetness up front. A good, gripping, tasty body and texture. Nice taste, medium body, good, sweet finish. Dries up quick, though.
Caramelly sweetness rides through.
A decent, but unremarkable bock.

Transparent bonze-amber hue, small pillow of white head, sub-par retention, no lace. Odd nose, very hollow, clean
very typical lager bouquet, ambivalent. Respectable palate with a nice blend of malt, faint caramel, candy, vague fruity-sweetness, underlying bitterness
tasty. The light carbonation gives itself to a medium-body beer with a crisp finish
agreeable lingering sweetness, fairly clean. This Bock hasnt revolutionized the world nor did it reinvent the wheel, overall it is a very drinkable and satisfying beer. Sometimes simple is good.

A light and non-descript aroma, that's mostly sweet water in character. As warms takes on some malt qualities. Clear, dark amber to almost brown. Medium to small head with medium staying power, but attractive looking beer nontheless. Somewhat robust in flavor esp. middle to finish. Actually warms up fairly nicely for a lager. In addition to dark roast and caramel qualities, has some fruity like qualities. Also takes on some tastey bitterness towards the finish. Medium to long dry finish. Medium to thin in mouthfeel. Fullness comes from carbonation. Mildly smooth. This is alright. Not great, but drinkable. Nice to see the brewery still plugging away. A decent brew to add for the area.

With the Minneapolis staff reduced to a handful of office workers, and Schell brewing beer for the bottles, I kind of thought that Page would ease off on new brews, but...
Transparent deep amber color, nice fluffy 1/2 inch head on a hard pour, but it lasts only 45 seconds. Simple lace. Candyish aroma, mostly toffee. Starts with buttery diacetyl, faint plum -- but fairly light-bodied and somewhat quick to decompose in flavor. Just a speck of a cinnamon sense. Finishes with a light bit of flowery bitterness, but fairly flat in tone. OK, nothing really wrong, but another straight Bock of little distinction.
