Part of Conwy Brewery's series of West Coast beers. This one was part of the recent Wetherspoons festival and while it is subtitled 'American style IPA' the brewery's website classifies it is an APA (either is fine by me). I had just a third of a pint at the Counting House in Glasgow and wished I had ordered more.
It has an unprepossessing appearance, a light golden colour with a typically mottled 'spoons head. It has a nice citric, mainly grapefruit, nose. It tastes sweet and feels rather syrupy with lemon and grapefruit to the fore before a more herbal aftertaste. Good stuff.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
