The spring sun has finally started to shine on San Francisco, and the new beers are arriving to town... Life is good
(apart from a scooter crash and hospital visit, but that's neither here nor there)
Appearance> Lovely hazy glow. Warm, dark honey color. Low liveliness. Small head with large bubbles. Head dissipates quickly and leaves no trace of lacing.
Smell> Sweet and resiny. A perfect balance of the two scents without much alcohol heat.
Taste> Sweet start, then the flavor begins to cover the whole mouth, bringing in a big hop taste. This smoothes out leaving a nice resiny hang. Smooth with a capital shmoo.
Mouf> Not as lively as I like. Sort of sits in your mouf. But it's cask so I'm not expecting fireworks.
Drinkability> Easy.
