They call it an "Imperial Cascadian Dark Ale" and listed the ABV at 9.2%. On tap at the brewpub. Dark brownish amber with a modest head. Serious hops.
Winey body and flavor with hot alcohol cutting through. Big dark caramel flavor with deep roasted malt. Woody, throat clearing sensation in the mouth. Not very drinkable after a few tongue-numbing sips. Giant flavor if you like the hop overload with a very dry finish.
