Packaged in a 500ml brown bottle, filtered. BB May 2007, served cool in a straight pint glass.
A: clear pale golden in colour, the beer head retreats fast to obliteration, sitting on top of a rather fizzy body.
S: malty--combined with hints of boiled sweet potatos, corn syrup, watery honey-drink, a trace of hays... the hop theme is rather muted, making the overall aroma a bit simplistic.
T: the light-bodied, bitter-sweet maltiness gives way slowly to a faintly floral hoppy aftertaste and slightly dryish palate. The aftertaste sees a little sourness and aroma of grains, with relatively little impact of hops in the end.
M&D: overly fizzy and thin for its feather-light body and mild taste--this is a failed attempt to bottle a nice cask ale, IMO.
