16th Feb 2012: The White Hart, Shifnal, Shropshire. Hand pulled pint.
Light amber to golden body with a cream coloured topping of tight bubbles.
The nose was grainy, malty (semi-sweet molasses) and hoppy (citrus more than floral).
The taste was pink grapefruits in caramel flavoured jelly: a slightly bitter finish follows the initial refreshing feel from this nicely balanced brew.
