Copper colored brew served at the pub. Half finger of off white head. Don't remember any significant retention nor lacing.
Faint bready malts overconsume what little hops are available in the aroma.
Biscuity/bready malt driven brew. Hops are signifantly reduced and not really evident. Medium bodied, finishing clean and dry.
Overall: "The Baxter" of IPAs.

Served on tap at the brewpub in a pint glass.
Appearance: Burnished amber akin to iced tea, very clear. Topped by a frothy offwhite head which receded to a splotchy film after a few minutes. Excellent rings of lacing were left as the beer was consumed.
Smell: Biscuity malts with a nice subtle hint of citric hops on the end. Seems more English than American.
Taste: The hops are stronger in the mouth. Toasted bready malts with a nice peppery tang of hops on the finish.
Mouthfeel: Solid medium body with gentle carbonation.
Drinkability: Nice and sessionable. A solid English IPA. Weird... the ABV of the IPA is higher than the APA?
