The first beer from this new brüpub. Poured a slightly cloudy copper color with a loose white head with bubbles. The head receded rather quickly leaving a pretty decent lacing around the side of the glass. Smell was very unassertive with just whispy notes of floral hops and a biscuity malt base. Taste was also quite subdued, but the malt profile showed up much more assertively here. The hops were still playing second fiddle as the malts flourished into a creamy, smooth cracker like taste. Just a little bready in the finish. Mouthfeel was nice and smooth. All in all a very drinkable session beer and an expected first offering from a fledgling brewpub.
