Only a pearly preview as it was strongly recommended by Rochestarians to me, and rightly so. Citrus and cloudy as their entire line is unfiltered. Good full mouthfeel, Expectation of turning into banana. Just good yeast, wheat. Another winner. Very drinkable as everything I had there.

Pours a cloudy gold with a white head. No lemon offered, which was cool. Aroma of ripe banana and some cloves, but also an estery yeastiness that went beyond a typical Hefe aroma. Neat.
Ohhh yeah. I like 'em big and chewy! This one has mouthfeel to spare. Very complex flavor profile - all of the expected banana/clove yeastiness alongside a hint of lemony tartness, but also some big time wheat-malt roundness and background flavor notes that faintly remind me of a Belgian Wit. It reminded me of the cloudy, full bodied Hefe that I tried at Black Forest Brew Haus on Long Island. Both were exceptionally full bodied yet almost insanely drinkable.
If these are the kinds of beers that the good folks in Rochester have access to on a regular basis... lucky!

Looks like my brother got to this one first, but let me say this was an exceptional beer that was such a sweet take on a style I was blown away.
It poured a completely unfiltered cloudy golden haze that was boardering on opaque with a pillowy white head and plenty of lace spread about the glass.
Smell was like a huge whiff of overly ripe, sweet bananas some notes of honey and a slice of lemony tartness and a distinct smell of musty belgian yeastyness that was almost belgian pale in scent.
Taste was estery unlike most hefe-weizens with a slight bitter hoppy note tons more sweet bananas and just a slight hint of cloves and corriander and a finish of orange peel and creamsicle. the mouthfeel was more creamy and full bodied than most hefe- I have had.
According to Dean Jones the brewer this was a "winter" hefe that he learned about from some Munich businessmen back in Michigan. Whatever he puts in it this is one tasty beer.

A good heavy winter Hefe. Color is a rich orange amber, with a bit of murkiness. Smell is very fruity, quite typical of the style. Heavy amounts of banana, cherry and fig were pinned down by a strong malt back. The taste mirrors the smell in the cherry and figs, but seems to leave more of the banana behind. Also evident are ample malt flavors, with a bit of hops and a tone of straight alcohol. Moderate body to the beer, with a decent carbonation. Quite drinkable.
