New spring offering from Dean Jones and it doesn't dissapoint. Popped into Bru after a Red Wings game and found this to be their newest beer. Well of course I had to try it. Poured a hazy golden hue much like a field of sun soaked grain. Small white head. Bru is certainly going for the unfiltered approach and doing a good job of it. Smell was a tad indistinct until much lower in the glass. Smelled of sweet maltiness and a slight bitter hoppiness, possibly saaz. Taste was refreshing as could be, which was a good thing because it was still 70 something degrees out. It was crisp and light with hints of the honey flavor with a slight toasty middle, nice bite to the finish with a good hop flavor. All in all a good beer that I could sip on all spring after games.
