12 oz red can. $4.99 six pack from Sunflower market in Gilbert, AZ.
Clear pale straw with a soapy head that was as white as new fallen snow .
Decent sticky lace for a chepo lager.
unfortunately thats where the fun ends, if only it could have tasted half as good as it looked.
aroma was urine soaked grain with a metalic scent, possibly from the can.
Bland, watery, hints of cereal and aluminum.
clean finish.
not recommended.

Dang were does my local "Grocery Outlet" find all these cheapo Guatemalan lagers!!. The aroma was pretty non-descript only borderline nasty( probably due to this being in a can,..though id does smell faintlly of sweaty socks. Appearance is a ghastly pale yellowlike canola oil..with a white head. Flavour..mmlike flat Sprite, a sickenlingly sweet aftertaste..that sticks around way to long. Horrid on the palate. Why I but these I do not know..Im a sucker for punishment in the form of cheap Guatamalan lagers!
Sorry to the previous reviewers..maybe I got a bad can.

A present from EyeChartBrew during a recent Beer Tasting.
Comes in a rather fancy looking 12 ounce metallic red can. Has a silver oval and the words Cerveza Culebra Lager in black and gold text on it.
A lively pour reveals a frothy white body that forms a big white head, at least 3 in depth. A pale gold body with straw hints and lots of bubbles on the glass walls, giving this a soda-like look. The head eventually breaks and leaves some blotchy looking lacing.
Hardly any nose, other than the some light malts. The body is thin, but not in a disastrous way, it does though drink easily because of this, its all a balance I suppose. The beer has a light hop character, it is crisp and clean. Not much to write about this one really. Very average but far from awful.
Nowhere near as bad as I expected, but I am so happy to know that I have another beer ready after this before I hit the sack tonight, it is not a disappointment, but more of a let down if you want something tasty. Still this is a Pale Lager at the end of the day and it is not a bad effort, I have had many more Pale Lagers that have much worse than this.
All beers are innocent until proven guilty, but I am afraid this one is bang to rights and looks like facing a long stretch in prison. Which is bad news, because this wimpy beer would most certainly become the pretty boy for any bigger bad ass beer it may meet there.
