Horrific beer. Typical skunky taste with a used up, ricey smell

I just started having this beer available in
Southern Florida, and I'm enjoying it.
I ususally prefer dark beer, but at times I
like a regular and Dorada is very pleasant.
We are getting it available in 18 bottle
packs for only $12.00 total -- a great deal.
I especially like it very cold, almost to the
point of nearly frozen and offered in a heavy
frosted mug -- it's turning out to be an
excellent choice especially in hot sunny Florida weather. I don't like the popular
American beers, but Dorada is a great choice.

Reviewed from notes - consumed on 3/8/2011. Served in a cervoise at the Jungle Lodge at Tikal in Guatemala. Pours a translucent straw gold with a loose, bright white head that immediately dissipates into a skim. Not much happening in the nose - light lemon citrus notes, a faint hops presence and cereal grains. Taste consistent with nose - some corn adjuncts at the finish but overall, more bready than sweet. Mouthfeel is light and watery with a mild, even carbonation. All and all, probably my least favorite of the Guatemalan beers I had the opportunity to try. Watery, flavorless and poor mouthfeel make this a pretty unimpressive beer.

I cannot believe this is considered a pale lager, because it seems very adjuncty, with its straw colour and fizzy head. The smell is sulfur, and it takes like seltzer water, mouthfeel is of course, thin as all hell. In terms of drinkability, its ok, I didn't drainpour it, but it was like drinking water.
