Sol
12 oz. clear bottle
For a while Sol had a small following where I live as a cheaper version of Corona Extra. I'm not sure if it was distribution that failed it, or just the quality, although I can't imagine that college kids were too discriminant. It's what it is, an inexpensive golden lager made with a good percentage of adjunct, and in this case, most likely just sugar syrup. You can't really fault them for the limited hop flavors, as that's what it's supposed to be, but the production quality could be a better. Overall: drink it cold, right out of the bottle with a lime wedge added in.

Nice beer, but awfull hangovers, not to be mistaken with Mexican Sol, this is even worse for the head at the next day. But you can enojy it while eating a good Lemon baked Fish in the lake. It is really nice, but a little like Dorada, but you would like it anyway if you are a heavy and party drinker.
