**NOTE: This beer is brewed exclusively for Pinnacle Drinks in Australia**
Another Pinnacle Drinks new release. This time jumping on the Mexican cerveza trend that is popular in Australia this summer.
Vessel: 355ml glass clear bottle
A nice artistic label, a flowery skull, emulating on the Mexican Day of the dead. Bought at BWS Glenquarie, best before 12/7/24.
Appearance: Clear, filtered very pale Golden colour. Thin bubbly head with little retention and no lacing.
Aroma: A little skunky, corn, grain, slight citric hop aroma. I thought I could taste pride of ringwood hops in this, but since discovering this is brewed in Guatamala and not Australia I now doubt that. It also has a strong sweet pale malt scent.
Flavour: Corn, Grain and sweet pale malt. A slight hop floral flavour in the mouth. Very smooth and innofensive. Equally as nice as a Corona, and has a slight but subdued spiciness at the back of the sip.
Feel: Light, slightly oily mouthfeel. Highly carbonated.
Overall: I suspect this is decent because it's not actually brewed in Australia. A South/Central American brewery will turn out a much better rendition of a Mexican styled cerveza than anything Pinnacle Drinks tries to do.
