This caught my eye carousing the local supermercado, hmm Guatemalen, let's give it a whirl. Popping the top with my rosewood handled waiter's corkscrew, I get a waft of adjunct lager sweet and malted milk ball-like scents. On the pour into my SAPP the brew yields a dark cola colour with a tan muti-sized bubble three finger head. The taste is metallic yet mildly sweet with only a very mild bitterness and it is consistent from start to finish with a very clean aftertaste. Mouthfeel is good. Really not much more than a malta and much less sweet. Avery unassuming beer that is in line with the style and very simply done. A great refreshing beer for a hot summer day with the mild flavor and clean finish but not really on target for a beer geek seeking shocking flavors that jump out in your face.
