Colour: turbid, straw. Foam white, creamy, very compact, very slowly descends marking each sip on a pint glass walls.
Aroma: wheat, wet basement, in the background delicate, sweetish lemon.
Taste: soaked wheat, moist but not musty basement, lemon and sweet lime.
Gentian: delicate, tuple, citrus. Saturation average.

Seems like this is brewed again and no longer retired as I had it at some random pub in Antwerp.
Smaller but foamy creamy 1/2 finger head fades at a med pace, light lacing, mild yellow orange color.
Nose is very effervescent, plenty of wheat aromas, light lemony, milky hay, a hint of a parsley like spice, coriander, orange peel, and light mineralified water.
Taste is again wheat, more traditional wit, sweetish wheat malt, mild bitterness, faint orange peel, coriander, and other spices but light overall, and an almost creamy wheat taste. Finish is fairly dry but a little sticky, mild bitter orange rind lingering, bit watery.
Mouth is med to lighter bod, nice carb, very slight creaminess.
Overall not bad, a bit on the watery light side, decent spices and wheat characters, def more of a hot summer day kinda beer and not a cold rainy one like it is today.

I had this on tap at Belgo Centraal in London last week. It poured a cloudy pale yellow with a frothy head worthy of a witbier. There was little to no aroma to speak of, but that may be due to the wonderful green curry mussels I was eating! The beer tasted like a classic witbier as well ... slightly sour and tart, hints of cloves. Nothing out of the ordinary. A good solid offering, but nothing to scream out loud about.

Appearance is royal: golden liquid instantly forms impressive crown.
Smell is a bit nitty-gritty - too much different tomes, too sweet. But it's interesting and doesn't make you to change your mind and order something else.
Taste is rich, fruity-sherbety, with a prominent citric note and hint of spices.
Very drinkable beer, especially at the cafe in Old Brugge, near Beguinage...

Bottled, poured into my brugs chalice
Pours with a cloudy hazy yellow body, eggy white head with good retention
Smell, a fair bit of clove initially, some fresh malt, little bit of yeast
Taste, very fresh tasting, some subtle spice and fruit, slightly estery
Very drinkable, great little session wit
