A: dark yellow colour, almost no head, some lacing though, absolutely clear
S: not much there, a hint of fruits like charentais and grains
T: once again not much there, tastes more like a lager than a spéciale belge
M: thin, carbonation is off
O: there is no need for this beer, is it bad, no. It reminds me most of the Dutch mass-market lagers. And I won't drink those either. A disgrace to the Palm name.
PS: I guess this is developed for the Dutch market. I picked up at a Dutch supermarketfranchise that is expanding into Belgium. Even tough in the market for over a year, I've neer seen this. Now I know why, this won't work in Belgium.

Sauvin, 25cL bottle. the name sounded interesting enough, to pick up a bottle
A: very clear, very thin head
S: very faint smell... may be a little bit of muskat grape
T: tastes very thin, watered down. not much of backbone, not much of hop, not much of anything... may be a sessionable?
M: light and thin. but it does not mean dry...
O: it's OK if you are looking for sessionable beer. Still, this beer lacks a mouthfeel and hop aroma/flavor to support anything. it just tasted watered down pale ale. i am not going to buy this one again..

Bottle of 250 ml, bought in the Netherlands.
Very deep golden yellow/light orange colour with one finger head with good retention and light lacing. Minimal activity in the glass.
Fruity aroma of watermelon (?) and a bit of apricot. Some caramel too.
Taste is only slighty fruity but bitter and hoppy.
Medium thick on the body, quite carbonated.
I could see myself buying it every now and then if it wasn't for the small bottle, I am used to at least 300 ml of content.
