Bottle 0.5 L.
Hazy dark yellow body with a large, creamy, white head, mostly lasting with a nice lacing.
Moderate malty (bread) and yeasty (citrus) aroma, with notes of banana and some spices.
Mainly sweet flavour slightly balanced by a light bitter note; moderate acidic character is also present.
Light-to-medium body with an oily texture; fizzy carbonation; moderate astringency in the finish.

500 ml swingtop bottle, bought in Spain. ABV is 5.0%. Cloudy pale golden colour, large white head. The aroma is first dusty and grainy, then the typical hefeweizen features (cloves and banana) come through. The medium dry flavour has also some grainy notes, moderate notes of cloves, an apple-like acidity in the finish. Like most hefeweizens it is refreshing and fairly nice to drink - but not the best example of the style.

Bottle purchased in Italy, consumed in Paris in May.
pour is light hazy yellow, tight frothy head. Nose is sweet lemon, lightly peppery, fair amount of yeast and light Belgian note to it. The flavor is lemony and refreshing, faint spice and fair balance of yeasty. Strong carbonation, medium body, zesty finish. Rather refreshing and easy to drink. Nothing crazy in complexity but good at what it is.

Swingtop brown glass bottle served into a Westvleteren goblet in Rome, Italy. Acquired at a local supermarket. Reviewed from notes.
A: Pours a one finger head of no cream, pretty good thickness, and decent retention. Colour is a cloudy murky dark yellow colour.
Sm: Orange and lemon citrus ester hops. Barley. A mild strength aroma.
T: Lemon citrus esters, orange peel, and full barley. Fairly simple, quite estery, and fairly refreshing. Decently balanced and built. Its simplicity is its main flaw.
Mf: Coarse and wet, but not sharp or creamy. It suits the flavours somewhat, but it ought to be more smooth to aid the refreshing quality of the beer, which is its strong suit.
Dr: Very drinkable, of decent quality, and offered at a fair price by Italian standards. It's average, and enjoyable.

500ml bottle
Oberdorfer Hefeweizen was once brewed by now closed Franz Joseph Sailer Brewery, now it is a product of Allgauer Brauhaus, with slightly lowered ABV
A- Hazy dark yellow. Looks very nice if poured in a weizenglass with a big and quite dense off-white head that has very nice retention and leaves some lacing on the glass as well
S- Not really strong on the wheat/bready side, but still nice. Spicy, phenolic aroma, with clove and banana among a bubblegum-like feel
T- A bit disappointing. As the smell suggested, very light on the malts side, whit just a hint of graininess. Distinctly spicy with phenols and clove hints. Then some notes of banana and again a faint bubblegum-like feel. Suprinsingly, this beer is slightly sour and metallic on the tongue as well as in the aftertaste, and it doesn't fit with the beer's overall feel in my opinion
M- Light in body and very much on the watery side, with barely noticeable carbonation. Uninteresting mouthfeel
O- This is a highly refreshing beer, even for the style, but not interesting or complex at all if compared to most weizens. There are many better examples avialable
