From the half liter bottle, it pours a light golden color with a nice white head. The head lasts. Some lacing. Scent is very light, which is normal for a helles. Similar light taste. Pleasant after taste. Nice summertime beer!

Platinum blonde with puffy white foam that fades fast. 3.75
Clean cracker grain, some grass, flowers, dough, and tin. 4
Sweet grain, country biscuit, a bit of pear, and mellow grassy end. 3.75
More than halfway to medium, round, smooth. 4
Bigger + doughier than I'd expect for a Helles - it dries out but the hops don't really cut at all. Very drinkable and no flaws. I think I want more than cookie dough, but gets there. 4

Light golden color with apparent carbonation and a thick two fingers head with medium retention.
Clean aroma of bread malt, and grassy and floral hops. Nothing much than that.
Nice flavor with notes of sweet malt, some spicy and grassy hops, and grains. Dry aftertaste with a low to medium bitterness.
Light towards medium rounded body with good carbonation.
Refreshing and well-crafted Helles. Nothing huge, but pleasant enough and faithful to style.

Half litre bottle, poured into oversized Tripel Karmeliet tulip. Rebranded as Hasen
Hell to commemorate 550 years of the Hasen brewery.
A: Golden, clear, head was fairly large to start with but faded fast, left some lacing on the glass.
S: Initially aroma was non existent, but later there were notes of malt and apple.
T: Munich malts, orange, toasted honey, real sharpness at the finish.
M: Light body, crisp texture, moderate carbonation.
O: A well made Helles, no unique features, but that doesn’t have to be a bad thing.
