I was able to get this to pour with a fluffy, bone-white head with low retention. The color was a bright, light-yellow. The nose had a sugary-sweet aspect to it. The mouthfeel was thin with banana esters apparent on the palate. The finish was also very sweet with a light graininess. A definite one-and-done.

Pours light golden with a 1" white head. No head retention or lacing
Smell: Sweet & corny
Taste: Honey sweetness with vanilla notes gives way to cloying sweetness
MF: Syruppy with good carbonation
Too (sweet) undrinkable to finish. I'm not sure Teddy would approve

pours out a bright golden colour; a fairly dense head appears and sticks a bit to the glass. sweet adjunct/corn aroma. tastes pretty crappy...cream corn with an off flavour in the finish as a kicker. mouthfeel is empty, body is spritzy and light. yuck. a marketing gimmick from gluek in cold spring. cool looking label on the bottle, though.

In a nutshell, it tastes like most cheap beers. Put this up against Hamms, Olympia, Milwaukees Best, etc, and you'll be hard pressed to tell the difference. No hop profile whatsoever, very corny as the other reviewer said. It goes down pretty easy though, especially for $4 per 12 pack.

"Enjoyed" in Medora ND over the July 4th weekend. I'm assuming it's named for Teddy Roosevelt's gang in the Spanish-American war. Beer is contract brewed for a so called "Dakota Brewing Co." by Gluek/Cold Spring.
Beer poured light/moderate yellow with a spritzy head that quickly disappeared. Heavy corny, adjunct aroma... pretty much cream corn. Taste was pretty hideous really, no malt backing, it wasn't even a clean lager taste. Very artificial. No noticible hopping resulting in a completely unbalanced, lightly sweet pils-like beer. Drinkability is about a 1.5 if chilled to near freezing. Would never buy again and would likely turn down even if free. May be worth it to try it one time just to see for yourself.
